Structural engineers
Freedom means having the ability to express framing solutions for a multitude of different structures. Our team at CSW has the knowledge and experience necessary to determine the natural relationships in a particular structure to determine the best quality and most economical framing. We will evaluate your structure and suggest the most ideal and cost effective way to improve economy. Once we have a fully developed concept, we suggest these ideas to your build team for consideration. Our approach is to break free of the confinements of the "This is how it's always been done" mindset, to develop new and innovative ways to fight for more economical structures.
Teamwork is our greatest asset. We believe everyone involved in a project is a valued member of our team. Whether it's contractors, developers, architects, or any other team members, CSW values their input, and will often make the necessary changes to best suit the project and the needs of the team.
Obviously, the ultimate decision with framing comes from our clients. Although we make recommendations, we will always do what is asked so long as it meets code. We engage with all parties involved with a project to ensure that our clients needs are being met. Our goal is to always insure we are doing what is in the best interest of our clients.
Drawings are the primary way we communicate our product. Our drawings are streamlined, well organized, easy to read and comprehend, with sections organized to describe the project at hand. We thrive on consistency to ensure that our multi-structure projects all have the same look and feel so there is no question that it all comes from the same "family".
- Design development & feasibility studies. As often as possible we get involved early in project development to help decide what type of structure will support a building. We work will all construction materials and framing methods. We use all the latest and innovative computer software.
- We have expertise in all types of structures including but not limited to high rise, mid rise, large scale multi family, commercial strip malls, large residences, warehouses, hangars, renovations, unusual shape structures.
- We are not only experts in concrete steel and wood (CSW!), we also design aluminum, metal studs, any pre-engineered system, etc.
- Construction Documents. We make the necessary calculations and plans needed to build the structure of the project. Using varying line weights and adequate details we ensure our drawings are easily understandable by contractors and building officials. We have a good rapport with all building departments and building officials which aids in a speedy approval of the structure portion of the permit. (click images above for examples of drawings)
- Construction Administration. We answer phone calls, review shop drawings, attend meetings, and clarify questions from contractors. Our office is very approachable and very available to the contractors needs.
- Inspections. We are qualified to inspect any and all types of structures. Inspection is an opportunity to help insure the contractor is building things per the plans and also a check and balance for our staff verifying what is built matches our vision.

our Team
The team at CSW comprises over a dozen full time engineers, AutoCAD technicians, full time inspectors, office personnel, and in- house account administrators. We are an efficient, well organized group that operates at the highest professional and ethical standards. We are always available to meet with clients to discuss their project needs in a relaxed and helpful atmosphere.
